AS FEATURED IN:

Megan Callus, Brain-based Breathwork Expert

If you’re living with chronic stress, anxiety and overwhelm, you CAN get relief.

This program transforms your life through changing the way you breathe.

You’ll learn to use breathing to experience profound and permanent changes in your well-being, finally defeating your anxiety.

Life is hard.

You may feel stressed, anxious and overwhelmed. A lot of the time.

You also may be suffering from: fatigue or poor sleep, high blood pressure, difficulty concentrating and mood swings.

Feeling on edge makes it difficult to radiate your best self

You deserve a life of peace, presence and joy.

Why continue to suffer?

Your breath is the most powerful tool you have to change your health and life.

Breathing is the most natural physical activity you will ever perform. However, for many of us, our breathing is actually creating anxious states.

Slowing your breath can help, but only in the moment.

Permanently changing the way you breathe can lead to changes in the brain and an end to the cycles of overwhelm and anxiety.

Breathing is a repeated pattern. We take an average of 20,000 breaths a day. When you change the pattern, you change your state and your brain. You also change your life, bringing back presence, peace and play.

You’ll move from stuck to serene. You’ll have more energy, less brain fog, improved moods and better sleep.

If you’d like to feel whole again, join me for this 8 week program.

So what is Breathe into Ease?

Breathe into Ease is an 8-week, 16-session virtual program. We meet via zoom twice a week.

  • The first session each week is 90 minutes. It is instructional with time for conversation

  • The second optional session is 60 minutes. It is for Q&A and review.

You will receive handouts to guide your learning and MP3s to follow along.

You will also receive a breathing necklace. Worn close to the heart, this elegant and functional piece of jewelry serves as a subtle tool designed by a psychotherapist to turn off anxiety and stress while also gently reminding you to prioritize your wellbeing.

You will reduce your stress, overcome anxiety, and improve sleep in just 8 weeks.

MY JOURNEY INTO BRAIN-BASED BREATHWORK

Everyone gets stressed. But when your stress becomes chronic, when you start to really struggle, or when you just can’t shake it, it can be not just hard, but isolating and scary. I get it, because I’ve been there. Here’s my story.

 History of Anxiety

After my divorce in 2014, I was hit with unfathomable anxiety. I felt like I was on super-speed running from a fire I could never escape. I would wake up with a pounding heart and a racing mind. I also had entered a dark hole of depression. I felt like I was living with a 500-pound weight on my back. Every day felt like a waking nightmare. I felt so alone.

 I Tried to Get Better.

Therapy and medications were not helping. I tried meditation, but my brain and nervous system were on overdrive and wouldn’t allow stillness.

Then I Discovered Breathwork.

It was in 2015 that I was exposed to the idea of using your breath for wellness.  The type of breathwork I first tried helped get me out of the constant loop of dark thoughts and fears, at least temporarily. Regardless, it was my entry point into the power of breathwork and was critical in leading me out of my despair.

 Into the Light

For the first time in a long time, I had hope. As I was introduced to other types of breathwork, I began to feel better more regularly. It didn’t happen overnight, but eventually, I came all the way out of the darkness.

 Becoming a Breathwork Expert

In 2018, I went back to school to study applied neuroscience, so I could help others. Once I began working in the neuroscience field, I used breathwork, among other tools, to help people with chronic pain, rehabilitate from injuries, address neurodegenerative diseases and ease digestive issues such as GERD and IBS. When the pandemic hit, I began to help people increase their immune function and recover from Covid. I also used breathwork to alleviate the anxiety the pandemic was creating. I found that not only did the breathing techniques help my clients calm their nervous system, it built an extraordinary community. Fast forward through more work experience and further studies…

And in early 2022, Boundless Breath was born.

These days, I feel a lot of joy, because I’m helping others change THEIR lives with their breath. In my practice, I address a wide variety of mental and physical issues including: anxiety, trauma, fatigue, high blood pressure, depression, and Long Covid as well as other chronic illnesses.

I am one of only a handful of practitioners who truly understand how breathing practices impact the brain.

That’s because my education is so extensive. I’ve studied: anatomy, physiology, toxicology, endocrinology, applied neuroscience, neurobiology of trauma, the biology of respiration, breath retraining and breathwork techniques.  As an expert, I am a consultant to a large psychological service agency. I teach therapists how to utilize my breathing techniques with their patients. I also provide training to corporations and schools on how to use breathing techniques to address anxiety and create greater calm, productivity and resilience.

I pride myself on my unique approach.

I not only use science-based breathwork to create permanent change to the brain, I use holistic practices. When you look at the whole person - mind, body and spirit - you can best assess how to help.

And I let compassion be my guide.

Because of my journey, I know how important it is to provide deep compassion and kindness.  I am trauma informed. I received trauma-informed care training in 2022. I also studied Neurobiology of Trauma Studies at the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine (NICABM).

  • I have had the great pleasure of working with Megan for about three years now, and I eagerly look forward to every hour spent with her. Megan’s knowledge in applied neuroscience and breathwork is exceptional, and she is able to apply her knowledge to help me exactly where I need help. She has an unusual ability to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand, so I know exactly why I am doing what I am doing. I have never worked with anyone more competent in her knowledge base, more skilled in its application, and more concerned about the well-being of her clients.

  • Many years ago, I learned the importance of breathwork. I learned that of all the healing modalities, i.e., exercising, eating right, drinking water, etc., conscious breathing was the most important thing for optimal health. This is why I was super excited to take Meg's breathwork program last spring. Meg is a breathwork master. She is also a beautiful healer. Her breathwork program is vital to me in so many ways… I experience less stress. Meg is so passionate about healing and wellness. If you have never tried breathwork for healing, I recommend it and I am confident that it will be life-changing!

There are lots of ways to reduce stress... Here’s what makes Breathe into Ease different.

1. BREATH IS THE MOST POWERFUL TOOL WE HAVE.

Breathing is constant. We breathe all day, every day, to the tune of 20,000 breaths per day. Consider that versus an hour a day on your yoga mat or even twice a week with your therapist. It’s not that those aren’t good ways to address stress. They are! But you don’t spend as much time doing them. Same with meditation, running and walking, being in nature, EFT and more. But! with EVERY SINGLE breath, you can improve how you feel and contribute to your well-being.

2. THE PRACTICES YOU’LL LEARN ARE SUPPORTED BY SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE.

What is taught in this program goes far beyond traditional breathwork. It’s cutting-edge science that has been shown to change neural circuits in the brain. There are studies from neurobiologists published in numerous high-level journals and reviewed by peers that provide the evidence behind this work. We also have “functional magnetic resonance imaging,” basically photos of the brain, that show the changes that occur. There is anecdotal support that other stress-reducers affect the brain, but randomized controlled studies - most rigorous of research design. Thus, there is strong evidence that your breath is a powerful tool for change.

3. SO, WHAT IS THE SCIENCE?

When you suffer from anxiety, often your breathing is faster and more shallow and you hold your breath. This type of breathing tells your brain you're under threat, as if you’re being chased by a tiger — it’s the fight-or-flight sympathetic response! Your breath alone can make you FEEL more anxious even if you’re NOT under high stress. It happens when systems in your brain are not in balance, But you can learn to use breathwork to restore balance, ultimately reducing your anxiety.

4. TOGETHER, WE’LL USE A BLEND OF SCIENTIFIC AND HOLISTIC PRACTICES.

In this program, we take a view of each participant as their whole self. This includes the psychological and social as well as the physical. We’ll focus not just on the respiratory system, but on other systems of the body as well to rewire circuits in your brain.

5. THE PROGRAM IS CUSTOMIZED FOR EACH STUDENT.

Every human is unique. You will be assessed the very first week! From that point, the program will be tailored to your individual needs.

6. COMPASSION IS OUR GUIDE.

Kindness and compassion are at the forefront of the process. You won’t be left to figure this out on your own. You will be nurtured and supported every step of the way.

If you want to feel better with powerful, science-based methods and a holistic, compassionate view that will work for you, sign up for the program.
